Our Escapes engage all your senses, with focus on restorative fitness, mindfulness, relaxation, self- discovery, self-care and companionship with fellow Escape participants.
The following applies to all Escapes.
The Château will be your home during your Escape and will be dedicated to Escape participants, Escape leaders and support staff.
Rooms are not rented out individually to those not participating in Escapes.

Enhance your Escape with personalized Massage, Private Fitness Training and Re-Alignment Conversations with escape mindset counselors.
Massage and Private Training is available for all Escapes. Re-Alignment Conversations are available for certain Escapes only. Please check Escape detail pages.
All private sessions entail a supplemental per session fee, unless otherwise specified on an Escape detail page. Female and Male massage therapists are available. Escape mindset counselors listen and suggest but are not licensed therapists.
Escape Activities are held in various locations inside the Château's beautiful 16th century buildings and outside on its 95+ acres of gardens, deep oak forests and lush walnut groves - letting you reconnect with nature and find inner peace.
The Chateau sits well away from the Chateau 90+ acre property perimeter, allowing for a secluded experience well protected from intrusion from the outside world.
Escape meals emphasize simple farm to table organic ingredients, locally sourced and recipes traditional to the Bordeaux wine country.
All Meals start with a short mindfulness session in which thanks are given for the activities of the day and their participants and the meal about to be enjoyed.
Escapes are given in English and may also be given in Spanish, German or French, depending on the Escape chosen and the language abilities of the Escape Leaders.

Want to head out on your own for more exercise during free time or in place of a scheduled activity? The château is surrounded by quiet country roads on gently sloping hills -- perfect for running, biking and walking.
The château has touring bikes available for use free of charge, and professional bikes are available for rental for a supplemental fee with advance notice.
Escape arrival and departure day agendas are arranged so that you can arrive and depart without stress.
Escapes generally start with a late morning arrival, giving you time to arrive before activities start, or with an evening departure, in which case all activities the evening of arrival are non-essential and are provided simply for those who have arrived. Late arrivals are fine and those arriving late will not have missed out.
Departures are late morning, following early morning activities and a brunch, allowing plenty of time for stress free return home during the remainder of the day.
The Château is located near the town of Velines, France (exact address provided with confirmed reservations).
The Château is just an hour east of Bordeaux by train or by car, with easy train connections in Bordeaux to Paris (2 hours by train from Bordeaux) and Toulouse (2 1/2 hours by train from Bordeaux).
The Bordeaux airport is served by BA (with flights to London Gatwick), Air France (flights to Paris), KLM (flights to Amsterdam), Iberia (flights to Madrid) - all with international connections from those hubs - and by Easy Jet and other regional airlines with flights to Germany, Copenhagen and elsewhere in Europe.
Shuttle service is provided free of charge between the Château and the Velines train station located less than 10 minutes from the Château.
Because our Escapes are group Escapes, they will only go forward if a minimum number of participants reserve. That number will vary by type of Escape, but will generally range between 5 and 8 participants.
Escape reservations will be confirmed only once the minimum number of participants has signed up. The minimum number of participants will be posted on the Escape detail page.
Unless otherwise indicated, Escapes will be cancelled one month prior to their start date if the minimum number of participants have not reserved by that date. Deposits paid for Escapes canceled due to a failure of the minimum number of reservations will be fully reimbursed. Once the minimum number of reservations has been met, reservation deposits become non-refundable.
Since your reservation for an Escape risks not being confirmed if you reserve for an Escape before the minimum number of reservations for the Escape has been met, we strongly advise you to make all travel arrangements and any other arrangements related to your participation on a fully refundable basis. We are not responsible for reimbursement for any travel or other expenses you may incur related to an Escape cancellation.
